First climb the stairs

The assembly of our Big robot is almost completed (Mechanical + Electronics 90%) [see pictures], comes the programming time.

It is the turn of Small Robot to be prototyped.

Yesterday we tested climbing the steps with manual control by Prezz (hope that the future motor control will be better). In any case the concept is simple, effective and brings full satisfaction.

Caliente Raymond provides us a local area

Something new at IGrebot since our quest for a local seems to have finally completed: indeed the company Caliente Raymond offered to host us gracefully on its area.

Caliente Raymond is a web development company and mobile applications, oriented event management, data visualization, mobility, gaming, but also interactive mapping.

I-Grebot 2015 - Assembling the rolling base

This year we decided to boost a little mechanical achievements that can not cut as usual by saying, "Well, and if we started coding avoidance? And the strategy? ". Follow the precious advice from Gargamel (RCVA team), we try to set a target of having a robot mechanically completed in January for 3-4 months dedicated to tests.

The mechanical design of the robot was completed in about two weeks, and we began assembling the rolling base including the following details.

Just like last year, we aligned the encoders and the drive wheels with a rectified rod from 8mm which crosses the 4 elements from side to side:

  • Claps (backup if Big robot doesn't)
